Cell Division by Joanne Tolson That's what it seems to be with as many types of cell phones and services as there are cell phones in the world. When they first started out there were bag phones and car phones and ship-to-shore phones. Cell phones are everywhere now. Satellites and communication towers have closed the gaps of long distance phone calls. They have practically replaced pay phones now in some instances. If you don't have a close-by pay phone if you break down, then you can use your cell phone to call for help. In the old days you had to depend on the kindness of strangers passing by to help you out. Of course you have to have signal towers for them to work, or satellites. That's the one caveat. The technology is great for those who have it. The Amazing Internet Portal of Fun It's a portal that takes you through to your ISP websites, where you download and listen to/create music, share photos and create memories, information, news and blogs, and chat while inter-relating through popular website venues of good rapport, as well as some inherently bad stuff, too. It's just like everything else, the good comes along with the bad. The internet is a playground for everyone who knows how to use it. It's “Buyer Beware”. New technology comes along and so do new crimes and laws, which evolve along with them. They go hand in hand. Technologies are good; technology has saved lives as well as taken them. Before, you either had to invent it or you certainly didn't have it—until now. Even today we marvel at the ancient technology they had back then. To quote a phrase, “Necessity is the mother of invention.” Man had to create ways to communicate in other languages or in their own over long distances. They did so in many cultures using pictographs and hieroglyphs. Man learned to do so on PCs and satellites. These are the apex of communications. Man can do things better and faster today. File It Under This… File it in a Microsoft Word Document and put them in folders in your computer. Most people that have computers know how to do this with their photos, music, word documents, etc. You put it in one folder or in several folders (sub folders). Thanks to OS/APPS like Microsoft, Linux and other Software Apps out there. There are as many software applications as there are jobs that can be done on the computer nowadays. Software programs are ever evolving to keep up with the rapid communications of today. When something better comes along, just as surely as men build it people will come to destroy it. It seems that the world is one giant chess match and we are all moveable pieces on the board. There are many variations. That is not predictable all the time, but rather random in behavior, not all predictable in a set pattern like computer software applications, which perform in the only way they can; but they can interact with other software manipulated by humans. That is, you can create documents and do many things when you put them in folders on your computer.
