a Galactic View

Column By Paul Truttman

Luna Liz is a free-traveling universal spirit.  When living within a physical existence, Luna Liz was a member of the lower animal chain.  As such, she wasn't tainted or corrupted by experiences that, had she possessed the gift of free will and intellect, could have required a period of post-death adjustment and re-training.  Luna Liz is pure spirit.

She now serves a master, as do humans.  Her master, though, is not a god as humans perceive omnipotent entities.  Her master is the Universe.  Upon her death as a lower life form, she awakened to the wonders of macro vision, the acreage of her prior existence awesomely replaced by a totality of sight far beyond what the planet, once her home, offered.

Luna Liz received a commission: to observe, with lucid, rational objectivity, events transpiring on Earth.  She claims nothing physical as residence, but believes the dark side of the moon to be more than adequate for the observational task  assigned—while retaining her privacy.  Luna Liz reports her observations to no one in particular, so she decided to share her universal views with the inhabitants of her prior home, Planet Earth.  Luna Liz apologizes if she offends anyone.  Apparently there are people not secure within themselves.

Each “Galactic View” is singular in nature and is not connected to any of its counterparts.  Neither is serialization the intent.  Luna Liz likes her current position and stature, but free spirits are capable of evolving, moving on, or taking off to tour the infinite expansiveness of the Universe.  The Master loves “its” children and would never lock Luna Liz—or planetary inhabitants—into only one function, purpose, fate or destiny.  Free will allows choice.

Planet Earth rests suspended in a void of perfectly synchronized beauty, yet its inhabitants, for the most part, dwell only within their individual selves and are therefore reduced to machinations of the mind.  There is a self-view, a universal view, a community view, a national view, and a world view, even universal and spiritual views.  Granted, the self-limiting view is often the result of not being able to see or envision beyond the burdens of personal situations, relationships, debts, etc. But taking time out to relax, meditate, reflect upon individual versus collective roles, and to think in terms of contribution, legacy, etc., is a deserved human right.

Luna Liz intends to present options and an alternative or two.  She desires to uplift rather than perpetuate sorrow, pain, and the human propensity to indulge negativity.  Luna Liz would like to inspire while sharing universal beauty and hope for individual balance and harmony.  Nothing good comes from being angry all the time.

Luna Liz invites, even challenges, commentary, feedback, critical analysis, and the participation of a brain trust or two.  No human is an island unto him or herself.  No human is wise enough, perhaps even intellectual enough, to possess all-knowing views or the answers to all issues at hand.  But curiosity and quests for the “real” versus personal “ideals” raise human spirits to their entitled views of inheritance.

Until we all meet again, Luna Liz bids you farewell—or welcome.
